I got an RFE asking for my "Education Board Certificate". I was told that it is 10th or 12th pass certificate. Its been a long long time since i passed. Does anyone know or has any experience on getting a duplicate from CBSE Delhi?
Is there any workaround, i have US masters and they still need a 10/12th pass certificate.

Ask them to connect you to the head/Senior executive. I did the same thing with my local cable+phone and was connected to a the head of their customer Service. That person connected me to more senior marketing person. That marketing person called me and emailed me to discuss. The company had no idea about Vonage plan and seemed unprepared to have a strategy to stop the exodus of its customers to Vonage.

i am waiting too, for the full month of june my attorney was sitting on my case not filing it as they were busy preparing the doc's for the july filers, finally they filed on july 2.
finally i received my(and my wife's) FP notice. My ND is Aug 14th and it is from NSC(not CSC). I(my lawyer) never received my Receipt notice.

Apparently they want everybody to forget about this ASAP, let alone attract any further interest or god forbid inquiries. I don't know who in the world can still beleive that they are a "service" and we are "customers".

It is not popular to say so but I have this doubt too.
Currently at least there is no requirement to notify and you only need to prove you still have a similar job OFFER (not necessarily working) if and when there is an RFE.
Only good thing happened to us in last decade, as far as I can remember, is AC21 and concurrent filing.
All these immigration laws are designed to keep us indebted/bonded to the employer. They might see this as a liberating provision and try to chain us back. This may or may not happen, but just my paranoid reaction,.
Hope AC21 don't go away like labor substitution has. :(

How do you guys know that 12K visas will be allotted in one single month(May)? From USCIS point of view, won't it make sense to keep some numbers as reserve, if the EB1 picks up in the 2nd half?

There are a lot of interpretations. Popular Attorneys like Rajiv Khanna and Sheela Murthy claim it is not valid and always advise clients to have a h1b backup. Not sure why they are so keen on h1b. It could be because some adjudicators may send EAD revocations also along with 485 denials.
Chandu, they may have other good reasons to do so, but one advantage for attorneys is an added fees out of filling for H1B; and for employers is less employee turnover due to the fact that even if employee is willing to change jobs. It is not so easy to find next job with H1 sponsorship than to be able to find one on EAD :)

They did this to try to avoid the tide of cases expected in July. Each green card approval uses one visa number. If the numbers are all used for the year, then the DOS will issue a revised Visa Bulletin reflecting "unavailable" in the particular category or categories.

Will you guys stop this madness atleast now?. If US started bending rules for people who send flowers, then everyone will try to manipulate the system. There is a lot of difference between the circumstances of originla gandhigiri and now. :rolleyes: That was our country back then, for crying out loud.We are in a foriegn country and the issuance of visa a previlege not a right.Why cant you guys understand this simple fact?. The British made us feel in the hey days that living in our own country was a previlege extended by their administration...even in that environment...Gandhigiri worked....but not without several initial failures..and Gandhi himself had acknowledge that non-violent resistence can succeed even against hitler but not without several initial failures...
The fact that we could get Mr. Gonzalez to even respond to the flower campaign itself speaks that Gandhigiri has worked...the publicity that this will generate will be of immense help....

And then it was noticed that EB3 porting was not properly accounted for in the equation (only 150 per month was accounted). Thereafter, it was stated that Eb3 -> 2 porting is at least 500/m (which I thought was quite a bit). This burden in the model dragged Aug'07 predicted movement date to Nov'06. Now that 12000 EB1 spillover is being claimed, this would account for and balance even 1000/m Eb3->2 porting. Therefore an August 2007 PD by Sep'11 is a good possibility. But the visa bulletin has it's own brains.

It looks like a good discussion. Please note i guess you are a highly skilled legal immigrant in H1B/EAD. What are the chances of you gettting a NOID and you would be back to your home country if you cannot keep a job in H1B.

Lets treat good news for EB2 as good news for EB3 also.
If not today, some of us EB3 folks may want to port. So it will help more people to port and also to compensate to some extent the #s coming into EB2 pool from EB3.
Overall its a good news, and looks to be possible we see this on Murthy site also. Lets be happy.
